Motivation Monday!
“You’ve got this!”
Whatever’s on your plate this week-homework, tests, games, or just getting through the day-you can handle it. Bears, take a deep breath, stand tall, and remind yourself: You’ve got this!

After reading To Kill a Mockingbird, Mrs. Breece’s English 9 students were tasked with creating their own board game based on the book. Students were required to create their own instruction manual, game board, character pieces, and playing cards. Each group then had the chance to play another group’s board game!

Reminder to elementary parents.

See you at 2:00 p.m.! Come early and check out the raffles and 50/50 prior to the game. Doors open at 12:30 p.m.

Our Spanish students have been diving deep into cultural learning!
They researched and compared Día de los Muertos with similar celebrations around the world. Through their findings, they discovered fascinating traditions from countries such as Spain, Brazil, Guatemala, India, the Philippines, El Salvador, and Ireland.
Students then presented what they learned to the class and did a fantastic job showcasing the unique ways different cultures honor and remember loved ones.
Way to go, students! We’re proud of your hard work and curiosity.

As part of our Día de los Muertos activities, Spanish students created their own personal altars honoring a deceased loved one.
Each student thoughtfully designed their altar with meaningful items, memories, and symbolism, and then presented their work to the class. They did a truly fantastic job—showing respect, creativity, and a deep understanding of the tradition.
Way to go, students! We’re proud of the heart you put into this project

Way to go, Macie! Congratulations!👏

Today, in honor of World Kindness Day, our 6th grade students shared a special story with our preschool through 5th grade Bears. They read A Fuzzy Tale, by Claude Steiner.
After listening to the story, each student received their very own warm fuzzy as a reminder that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference. 💛✨
Let’s keep the kindness going, Bears!

After learning about interior design as an art related career, 8th graders in Mrs. Cano's art class are busy building 3D miniature bedrooms. For the project, students have to use what they know about the art elements to design wallpaper and rugs and then using foam board, students are building all of the furniture that goes in the bedroom. As an added art feature, students researched 10 different famous artists and will have to make a small reproduction of one of their chosen artists works of art and will be writing a short essay on how the chosen artists' work inspired the design of their room. According to the students, this has been their favorite project so far this year. Stay tuned for the finished products!

Congratulations Brooklynn & Aspen! 👏

Today is World Kindness Day!
Kindness is contagious. One small act can create a ripple that brightens someone’s entire day. Whether it’s a smile, a high five, a helping hand, or a few kind words, every act of kindness makes our school and community stronger.
Let’s all take a moment today (and every day!) to spread kindness wherever we go.
