Griffin joined the kindergarten 100 sight word club last week! Way to go!

The sound of Civil War cannons and the smell of the blacksmith's fire will return to Hardin Northern next week. The History Brigade will host their annual Living History Day for the elementary classes next Tuesday afternoon. Several student presenters will join local living historians as they entertain the elementary students with tales of the Civil War, the French Revolution, and much, much more.

Good luck, Bears!

4th grade has been working on growth mindset and today learned about parts of the brain. They discussed what each part of the brain does, how they can exercise these parts of their minds, and finished with putting it all together by creating a cross-sections model brain out of doh!

Don’t forget! Tonight is the Hardin Northern FFA Chicken BBQ! 🍗
Meals can be picked up from 4–6 p.m. and our FFA kids are doing a fantastic job putting it all together. It smells absolutely delicious!

Good evening. This is a follow up to the message that I sent out last week about the 3-hour delay. There a couple of reminders for you all concerning delay days, including Friday delays. First, on any day that we delay, there is no breakfast available. The first lunch starts at 11:25 on delay days, so the cafeteria staff is already working on lunches for the day when the students arrive. So, if you could make sure that your son or daughter gets a little breakfast snack before they come to school on delay days, that would be great.
The other additional piece of information concerning delays is for early release Fridays. On any regularly scheduled early release Friday (2:15) that school delays (2 or 3 hours), the early release would be eliminated, and students would stay until 3:15.
Thank you for your cooperation and have a great night.

Homecoming Week! Friday is HN Spirit Day! Let's see how much black, white, and gold you can wear to show your spirit!

It’s Throwback Thursday, and today we’re heading back to 1992 Homecoming festivities! From the bonfire and tug-a-war to car stuffing, barbeque, and so much more, it was a week packed with fun and excitement.
Traditions like these remind us that Homecoming at Hardin Northern has always been about school spirit, community, and making memories together.
Here’s to celebrating the past while continuing the traditions that make Homecoming week such a special time for our Polar Bears!

Due to some lingering dense fog in the southern portion of our district, Hardin Northern will be starting today, September 25th on a 2-hour delay. Thanks and have a safe morning.

What a fun and exciting evening as our Homecoming festivities continue! Tonight we enjoyed the Homecoming parade, a great bonfire, and the Polar Bear Freeze Fest — with the finals of the volleyball matches. And of course, our Hardin Northern Varsity Girls Volleyball Team came out as champions of the night! 🏐🙌
A huge thank-you to our community for showing up in such great numbers — from lining the streets for the parade, to gathering at the bonfire, and to cheer on the volleyball matches. We truly have the best community, and we’re so proud to be Polar Bears! 🖤🤍💛
