Mrs. Mast's 3rd Grade Math Class today worked on team building and communication with the Cup Stack Challenge. Using a rubber band and strings they had to work through 6 challenges to unstack and stack 6 cups into different formations. They discussed communication skills and problem solving without giving up and trying new strategies!

Due to conflicts in the schedule, this meeting has been cancelled and at this time has not been rescheduled.
For the first week of school, 2nd grade had a camp theme! They made vests and received badges to put on their vests when they learned something new about the 2nd grade. They ended the week playing a get to know you smores activity and made smores trail mix!
Big shout out to the incredible summer Hardin Northern Custodians for all their hard work and dedication in preparing the school for the new year! The building looks absolutely fantastic, and we know it took countless hours and efforts to get everything ready. There were so many projects, big and small, and we appreciate every single thing you did to make our school shine. The team improved their bump, set, and spikes this game with the help of setters Faith LaPlant and Presley Terhark. Hope Ribley had 3 kills and Regan Camper had 2.

Vivian Overs had 8 aces and Jayna Holbrook had 4 kills.

The Hardin Northern Golf team got the win over McComb last night. HN set a new school record with a team score of 195! McComb had 214. Medalists for the match were Justin Thiel & Preston Grappy, both with a 44. Way to go Polar Bears!
