2nd Grade Stand Out Student for September! Congratulations Ever!🎉

To begin their unit on rocks, 6th grade students participated in a rock show and tell this week. They identified the type of rock, looked at different features of their rocks, and gave their rock a name.

The first grade students at Hardin Northern have been researching bats. We have watched videos, read books, and taken notes. The students used their notes to make their own books. The used nonfiction text features like headings, bold words and table of contents. They each had a turn to read the book to the class. They enjoyed painting a bat craft.

Picture retake day is next Wednesday, October 23rd! 📸If you're not happy with your child's school photos, it's simple - just send the photos back with your child, and they will get a new picture taken. Be sure to write on the outside of the envelope what you didn't like about the original photos so they can make it right!

Shoutout to the Grit Club, Strum Club, for working hard today on their guitar skills. Keep strumming, keep growing, and keep rocking! #HNProud
