The HN RoboBears made the Hardin Northern community proud today by competing in the State Championship. It began with well over 100 teams in Ohio and only 36 teams qualifying for State. While the Bears didn't win, their robot performed exactly as planned! The improvements they made since their first competition this year have been incredible! Congratulations HN RoboBears on an incredible season!

On Thursday night the HN RoboBears presented their team and robot for State judging. They did a great job, and are now ready to represent HN at the State Championship on Saturday at the Hobart Arena in Troy! Good luck RoboBears!

The elementary hallways were filled with the sounds of reading at the end of the day today. To celebrate the end of Read Across America week, our "Bigs and Littles" joined together to share their favorite books. “You are not done with a book until you pass it to another reader.” - Donalyn Miller
CCP students studied Spanish holidays from Spanish speaking countries and presented their findings to the class. They extended their learning by creating a popular dish from that country and shared it with the class. They did a great job!
Mrs. Monday's Kindergarten class voted on their favorite of the three Dr. Seuss books read at the end of each day. Our results were:
Monday- Hooper Humperdink...Not Him!
Tuesday- The Cat in the Hat Comes Back
Wednesday- Ten Apples Up on Top
Thursday- Green Eggs and Ham
Friday- The Sneetches
Finally, our overall favorite book of the week was: The Lorax!
