So wonderful to see the 5th graders and 1st graders reading together today! It's amazing to watch our older students step up as mentors, guiding and inspiring the younger ones. Moments like these remind us of the power of learning and connection at every age. Great job 5th graders, for being such positive role models!🌟

During tonight’s game, due to the wet conditions, all spectators are asked to please stay off the areas that we are trying to grow grass seed in. These areas have straw on them or are currently dirt. Please try to stay on the concrete areas or in the bleachers. Thank you!

Hardin Northern students continue to show off their many hours of hard work at the fair today!

The first grade students at Hardin Northern have been learning about farm animals. They wrote facts about them, graphed their favorite and read many stories.

Today, second graders wrapped up their camping theme unit with a virtual reading escape room! They had to determine which texts were fiction and which texts were nonfiction. They answered questions over the texts as well! If they answered all the questions correctly they were able to collect wilderness badges for their virtual camping backpacks.

Ticket seller needed for Friday's football game.

Students have been working on unit conversions in class. So to cap it off they had to convert the ingredients of a fudge recipe into teaspoons and tablespoons in order to know how much of each ingredient to use. Once a student had the correct conversions they were allowed to start making fudge. They then had to weigh their fudge and calculate the value of it based on 25 cents per gram as well as answer questions analysing how the process went.

Good luck Bears!

Let's go Bears!
