A Special Display to Inspire Future Generations!
Recently, the family of Norm Jolliff, Hardin Northern Class of 1953 and a member of our Hall of Distinction, loaned two of his official U.S. patent plaques to the school to put on display.
As an engineer, Norm earned an impressive 27 U.S. patents, a remarkable achievement that showcases the power of innovation and dedication. These plaques are now proudly on display in front of the library, serving as an inspiration to all students who walk our halls.
This is a powerful reminder of the limitless potential our education at Hardin Northern provides. Norm's success proves that with hard work, ambition, and a great foundation, anything is possible!
Let's all continue to strive for the best and make the most of the opportunities we have here at Hardin Northern!

To wrap up learning about electrical energy, 4th grade students applied their knowledge to a real life scenario by making a functioning flashlight! In this investigation, students learned the anatomy of a battery and explored different ways to use a conductor (aluminum foil) to make a switch for the LED light to function.

Good luck Bears! 🏀
