Today we’re taking a trip back to 1962, straight from the pages of the Northern Lites yearbook, to highlight some of Hardin Northern’s coaching legends.
These coaches weren’t just leading teams on the field or court; they were shaping character, building traditions, and instilling pride that continues to define Hardin Northern today. They helped lay the foundation for the strong Polar Bear spirit we still carry on today.

🔬Hands-on Learning in Physical Science! 🔬
Students in Physical Science completed several interactive lab stations to explore the world of matter! They investigated physical properties such as viscosity, density, and solubility, and learned the differences between elements, compounds, and mixtures through engaging, hands-on activities.
It was great to see our students thinking critically, asking questions, and learning science by doing.

Good evening. The Hardin Northern School District plans to be in session tomorrow at the normal start time.
The temperatures are still very cold but look to be warmer than the last few days. Please make sure that all students are dressed warmly and appropriately for the conditions. Our bus drivers will do their best to limit the time that students have to wait at the bus stops, but please do not send students out earlier than expected.
We look forward to seeing everyone back in the building tomorrow and we appreciate your continued support and understanding.
Have a good evening and be safe.
Reminder:
5th & 6th Grade auditions for High School Musical Jr. are tomorrow in the Band Room @3:30pm*
*Since this is a time commitment outside of school hours students must bring a signed permission slip. If unable to get a copy printed from the email, students must bring a signed note or have a parent email megan.baker@hardinnorthern.org to ensure they are allowed to participate.
