Motivation Monday!
“Act as if what you do makes a difference. Because it does.”
Your attitude, your effort, your words-they all matter. You never know who you’re inspiring just by being yourself. Bears, keep showing up and doing your best. It’s making an impact. Have a great week!

This week the first graders read stories about cookies! They worked on sequencing and comprehension. One story they read was Cookie Queen. The girl in the story tried over and over again until she perfected her cookie recipe. She finally did it and now her chocolate chip cookies are sold in stores! The first graders were able to taste her cookies too! They ended the week but writing about a time they felt like a "smart cookie."

Today 3rd grade students explored the states of matter by making oobleck, a fun and engaging non-Newtonian fluid. They observed how it behaves like a solid when pressure is applied, but flows like a liquid when at rest. This hands-on activity helped them better understand the properties of solids and liquids in a memorable way. Through play and observation, they learned how some materials can have characteristics of more than one state of matter.

Today, the Hardin Northern Freshmen, along with Mr. Suter attended MakerFest at the Allen County Fairgrounds!
MakerFest is all about connecting talent with opportunity — featuring over 100 companies representing skilled trades, STEM activities, and career pathways. Students had the chance to explore hands-on exhibits, talk with professionals, and learn about the training and skills needed for various careers.
It was a great day full of learning, exploration, and inspiration for our future workforce!
