Fall Sports begin Friday!
The 2025 golf season is officially underway! HN kicked things off with their first invitational of the year at Sycamore Springs in Arlington. It was a great opportunity to shake off the off-season, dial in their focus, and get into competition mode. The Bears finished 4th overall. An exciting start with lots to build on! Way to go, Bears.

Hello Polar Bears!
There are some important dates and changes that you need to mark on your calendar for the beginning of the upcoming school year!
First off, please come out and join us at the 2025-26 Hardin Northern Open House on August 11th. The Jr High/High School Open House is from 5:00 to 6:30 pm. Elementary is at the same time, but each grade level has designated meeting times. Kindergarten and first grade from 5:00 p.m.-5:20 p.m., second and third grade from 5:25 p.m.-5:45 p.m., and fourth and fifth grade from 5:48 p.m.-6:08 p.m. and sixth grade from 6:10 p.m.-6:30 p.m.
The first day of school for students is August 13th!
There are also a couple of other big changes for this year. First, we are reinstating Friday early releases at 2:15 for teacher professional development. Each Friday that we are in session will be an early release for all students! And second, remember that Hardin Northern is closed the entire week for the Hardin County Fair!
So, come out and meet the new staff, meet your new teachers, and check out some of the exciting interior changes that have taken place in the building over the summer.

We’re excited to share that for the entire 2025-2026 school year, ALL students at Hardin Northern will be able to receive a healthy breakfast and lunch every school day at NO CHARGE!🍎
The girls basketball workout scheduled for July 10th at 8am has been cancelled. There will still be lifting at 9:15a as scheduled.
The Hardin Northern Board of Education will be having a special meeting Wednesday, July 9th at 5:30 pm for the following purposes:
Hiring of personnel
Approval use of gym
JH volleyball open gyms will begin tomorrow, July 8th. This week they will be Tuesday, July 8th and Thursday, July 10th from 10a-12p in the HS gym. For the remainder of July they will be Mon, Tues & Thurs from 5p-7p in the HS gym.
